Dr. Danielle Stokes provides compassionate in-home euthanasia and quality-of-life support for dogs and cats in Lakewood Ranch, Parrish, and Sarasota. This service is available by appointment for both members and nonmembers.
When a pet is declining, painful, anxious, or nearing the end of life, a clinic visit can feel overwhelming. A home visit allows your family to say goodbye in a quieter setting with time, privacy, and guidance from a veterinarian.
For families who are unsure whether it is time, Dr. Stokes can provide an in-home quality-of-life consultation and talk through your pet's comfort, mobility, appetite, breathing, behavior, and overall trajectory.
If euthanasia is appropriate, Dr. Stokes will explain the process in advance, prioritize comfort, and give your family time before and after the visit. Aftercare and cremation options can be coordinated through a trusted local partner.
If your pet is in severe distress and cannot safely wait — such as difficulty breathing, collapse, uncontrolled bleeding, inability to urinate, suspected bloat, toxin ingestion, or major trauma — please contact an emergency veterinary hospital immediately.
Families can choose aftercare based on their wishes. Dr. Stokes can discuss private cremation with ashes return, communal cremation, paw-print options, and what to expect after the visit. Nothing is decided without your consent.
This form helps Dr. Stokes understand your pet's condition, timing, location, and aftercare preferences. She will personally follow up as soon as possible during business hours.
Submitting this form does not create an emergency service request or guarantee immediate availability.
Thank you. Dr. Stokes will review your message and follow up personally.
